A Growing Partnership: CROSS & DMPS

The initiative between CROSS Outreach and Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS) continues to grow. This partnership, established in 2025, connects CROSS with SUCCESS Case Managers at DMPS.

SUCCESS is a school-based program serving K-12 students and their families. Case Managers provide intensive services to address social and emotional wellness, basic needs, education, health, and community supports.

In its first year, the partnership provided emergency assistance to 21 households (representing 62 individuals) referred to CROSS by Case Managers. Maximizing this partnership by doubling or tripling the number of people served is a top priority.
